BPL training course:

Entry deadline April 10th, 2025 (group 1 / 2025)

Training course consists from: theory course and flying training:

THEORETICAL TRAINING :

Air Law; Human Performance; Meteorology; Communications; Principles of Flight; Operational Procedures; Flight Performance and Planning; Aircraft General Knowledge Related to Balloons; Navigation

FLYING TRAINING:

The minimum flight instruction time for the BPL course is 16 hours, including: 12 hours of dual flight instruction; 10 inflations and 20 take-offs and landings; one supervised solo flight with a flight time of at least 30 minutes.

You should expect to have at least 12-14 flights, including solo and skills test flights.

BPL training course entry conditions

To apply for the BPL training course:

Age limit  - at least 14 years old*

Sufficient English language knowledge to understand training materials and listen to lectures and briefings

Fill in and sign an application form*

Add copy of your personal ID or passport

Add valid medical certificate LAPL or Class 2 if available**

IMPORTANT!

* For students under 18 application form must be co-signed by parent or legal guardian

** At the application stage, a Medical certificate is not mandatory.

You MUST have a Medical certificate before first Solo flight. However, we recommend passing a medical inspection before the beginning of the training course. Study fees will not be returned if you fail to pass the medical inspection!

BPL Training course group 1 / 2025   Terms:

Theory lectures 3 times a week:

   18:00-21:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLINE

   10:00-17:00 Saturdays CLASSROOM and ONSITE
